Hollow bar micropiles
Hollow bar micropiles consist of three main components: the pile head, the steel tension or compression member – including coupling and sacrificial drill bit – and the grout body.
The steel tension or compression member is designed as a hollow bar with cold-rolled continuous thread, allowing it to be cut or coupled at any desired position.

Construction variants
- Temporary pile
- Short-term pile with a service life of up to 2 years
- Permanent pile, plain finish, taking soil-dependent corrosion rates into account (service life up to 50 years)
- Permanent pile, hot-dip galvanized, taking soil-dependent corrosion rates into account (service life up to 50 years)
