Braced, watertight sheet pile cofferdam with a back-anchored underwater concrete base slab; walers and bracing executed using the Groundforce system.
Niehler Hafenbrücke
Project Description:
Rehabilitation of the Niehler Hafenbrücke pedestrian and cyclist bridge in Cologne.
Execution:
Supply of high-strength S670/800 threaded bars Ø 63.5 mm including bearing assemblies as temporary support for the tension zone to secure the rehabilitation works.
Pumpspeicherkraftwerk Waldeck I
Project Description:
Modernisation of the Waldeck I pumped-storage power plant in Edertal – construction of a seepage water monitoring shaft (South).
Execution:
Design of a mined shotcrete shaft with an internal diameter of 6.00 m and a depth of up to 10.45 m.
To ensure the stability of the 40 cm thick shotcrete lining, 54 vertically arranged injection bored piles were installed along the outer shaft wall with a total length of 537.70 m.
