Bar anchors
Structure
Bar anchors consist of three main components:
Anchor head
Steel tension member – divided into bond length and free length
Grout body
The steel tension member is designed as a round steel bar with hot-rolled coarse thread ribs, allowing it to be cut or coupled at any required position.
Features
Nationally approved systems with internal and external quality monitoring
Excellent adaptability to transport and installation conditions due to delivery in segments with coupler connections
Simple stressing, re-stressing and de-stressing by means of screw anchoring
Easy on-site length adjustment, e.g. under varying geological conditions (shortening by cutting or extension using coupler joints)
Excellent bond between the anchor bar and cement grout due to the thread ribs
Optimal adaptation to required load capacities through a wide range of available cross-sections and steel grades
Structural variants
Short-term anchor (for temporary use):
Short-term anchor with a service life of up to 2 years
Short-term anchor for extended temporary use with a service life of 2 to 7 years
Removable short-term anchor
